Finding a topic can be great fun. It can also bring you recognition and plant you as an expert. Think of these starter ideas;
Do you own a business? Then you have a great launching pad that can place your business in the lime light. Take an aspect and expand on it. Show your enthusiasm and skill.
Do you have a hobby? This is a wonderful venue to write about. Hobbies can be more than for play, and they enrich people’s lives.
Do you belong to an organization? What does this organization do? What motivates them, and how can that benefit your readers?
Do you own a pet? Pet people are passionate and always want to learn more.
Do you have special skills? It may seem ordinary to you, but could help someone else immensely. It may be just that you are a good organizer- well, tell the world your insights!
Do you work for an industry of interest or a little known industry? This could hold a wealth of articles. Maybe a series.
Do you have any challenges that you have overcome? We need you!
Do you have a faith or religious practice? We are a world always searching.
Do you have a disability? Make it into something to help others.
Do you have an education, or are you going to school? This is one of the big challenges in life, and people want to learn to learn.
Do you have a unique diet? We all eat.
Do you have an inspirational story or an amazing story? Tell us. We all want to have hope.
Are you married, divorced, separated, single? These things are a major part in our lives.
Do you have children or no children? Parenting is always a big subject.
Do you have elderly parents or are you elderly? What wisdom have you found? What comfort can you give?
Do you have a political or environmental view? These are always hot topics and have the power to transform.
Anything that is unique, and anything that is common, is a base for an article. Give ideas, observations, tactics, positions, hints- anything that will be of benefit to fellow man (and woman). Get your voice out and make a splash. Enjoy the process.

Networking and Articles
A marvelous realization came when I was researching online article writing: you can use it supplement more traditional online networking of your business. Two free sites (http://biznik.com, http://speedbusinessnetworking.com) I found help create an online business network and allow for submission of articles, which can therefore lead to a larger network. This is a neat idea that can help you create a following and reputation.
Have you tried any like service? If so, what was it like? What was the site?

The Beginning
Hello everybody! I am starting this blog because I want you to be able to join me as I learn a new skill and perhaps, even, we can all learn together. All I ask is that you do not bombard this blog with solicitations. Tips, tricks, leads, ideas and works in progress are all welcome.
I am new to online article writing. It is an avenue I want to succeed in because I feel I could do a lot to improve the lives of others. Both from my knowledge as a publisher and writer, but also (and perhaps more importantly) because of life's experiences all teach us things which could enrich other people.
My first adventure was to write an article titled The eBook Era is for You, which I submitted to a teen article/forum/chat site. Teens are very savvy, for the most part, with technology and the web, and they are often eager to improve the world. The site is called Article Resources for Teens (http://www.chat-place.org, under the tab "Articles").
I hope it will get them thinking of how they want to tackle life, what they want to do with their life, and help them plan for creating an eBook. Books are a simply wonderful way to make an impact. I hope article writing will be the same.
Till next time, go for it talented people!
